Destinations Covered: Delhi - Varanasi - Khajuraho - Orccha - Jhansi -Bhopal - Bhimbetka - Bhojpur - Indore - Mandu - Maheshwar – Indore.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
The Central India Classic Tour starts off from Delhi. On your arrival, the tour representative will receive you at the airport and escort you to the hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Delhi
Leave for a sight seeing tour of Old and New Delhi. The tour begins with a visit to Old Delhi’s monuments including Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate and drive past Rajpath, Parliament House and Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
Day 3: Delhi Varanasi Transit
Check out from the hotel and depart for the airport to board the flight to the holy city of Varanasi. On arrival, you’ll be escorted to a hotel, en-route stopping at Sarnath. In the evening, you will set out on a trip to witness the splendid prayer.
Day 4: Varanasi
Early morning, go on an exciting cruise on the river Ganges. After returning for breakfast, go on a sight seeing tour of the city. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.
Day 5: Varanasi – Khajuraho Transit
The Classic Tour of Central India continues to the temple city of Khajuraho. Check out from the hotel and depart for the airport to board the flight to Khajuraho. On arrival, the tour representative will escort you to the hotel. After resting for a while go on a tour of the temples, famed for their intricate sculptures.

Day 6: Khajuraho – Orchha Transit
On the 6th day of the tour, depart for Orchha by surface. Once in Orccha, you’ll check in to a hotel and after freshening up, leave for a sight seeing tour of the city.
Day 7: Orccha – Jhansi – Bhopal
Post breakfast, drive to the Jhansi Railway station, where you’ll board the train to Bhopal. The tour representative welcomes you on arrival and escorts you to the hotel. Proceed to go for a sight seeing tour of Bhopal Bharat Bhawan, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalya, Birla Temple and Taj-ul-Masjid.
Day 8: Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal
Post breakfast, leave for a day’s excursion to the famed Buddhist pilgrimage site of Sanchi. The town has some majestic stupas and ancient museums. You’ll be driven back to Bhopal for the night.
Day 9: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Bhojpur – Bhopal
Proceed to a full day tour to the ancient caves of Bhimbetka and also to the city of Bhojpur. You’ll be driven back to the hotel in Bhopal for the night.
Day 10: Bhopal – Indore transit
Check out from the hotel and leave for Indore by surface on the way stopping at Ujjain, which has a few sight seeing spots like Bhartrihari Caves, Ved Shala and Kaliadeh Palace. Once done with the sight seeing, proceed onward to Indore and check in at the hotel.
Day 11: Indore - Mandu transit
After breakfast, depart for Mandu by surface. Upon arrival, check in to a hotel and after a brief rest session, set out on a sigh seeing tour. The city has a host of sight seeing tour like the Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, Hoshang’s Tomb and Roopmati’s Pavilion.
Day 12: Mandu – Maheswar
After breakfast, proceed to the famed temple city of Maheswar, en-route stopping at a famous pilgrimage center at Omrakreshwar. The Omkar Mandhata Temple here enshrines one of the twelve most powerful Jyothirlinga Shiva shrines. Proceed to the Maheswar and on arrival check-in at a hotel. Set out on a sightseeing tour of Maheswar in the evening.
Day 13: Maheswar – Indore – Delhi
Leave for Indore and upon arrival you’ll be driven to the airport to board the flight to Delhi where the tour concludes. Once in New Delhi you’ll be taken to the New Delhi International Airport by the tour representative for the flight back home.
