DAY 01: Arrive at Delhi
On arrival at the Delhi International Airport, our representatives will receive the guests and transfer them to the hotel. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
DAY 02: Delhi - Jaipur
Post breakfast on the second day of the Classical North India Tour, guests proceed for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Guests visit some of the tourist’s destinations which include National Museum, Parliament House, India Gate and Qutub Minar.
India Gate is one of the most important monuments in the city of Delhi. This monument is built in the memory of 80,000 Indian Soldiers who died during the First Worlds War. Qutub Minar which stands at 239 feet is a sandstone tower built by Qutubuddin Aibak in the year 1199. This tower is one of the tallest towers of India.
After lunch session, guests are driven to the pink city Jaipur. On arrival guests check-in at the hotel and spend the whole night in Jaipur.
DAY 03: Jaipur
The third day of the Classical North India Tour begins after a delectable breakfast at the hotel. Guests are taken on a full day tour of the city where in they visit some of the important places such as Ram Niwas Garden, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Amber Fort.
Hawa Mahal is built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. The massive five storey structure designed by Ustad Lal Chand is an excellent example of Rajput artistry made of pink and red sandstone which is beautifully bordered with white outlines and painted in quick lime. Amber Fort is a classical fort which was built by Sawai Jai Singh first in the year 1592. This beautiful fort is made in white marble and red sandstone.
Guests return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 04: Jaipur - Agra
On the fourth day of the tour guests are transferred to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. The city of Fatehpur Sikri is just 26 kms away from Agra. This royal city blended with both Hindu and Islamic elements in the architectural style was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. From there they proceed to Agra, the city of historical heritage and cultures. On arrival guests will check-in at the hotel. Post lunch session guests will visit the Taj Mahal. Its striking beauty is beyond adequate depiction in particular at sunset and at dawn.
Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World as is recognized as the memorial built by emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. Its striking beauty is beyond adequate depiction in particular at sunset and at dawn.
In the evening guests return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.
DAY 05: Agra - Varanasi
Post breakfast on the fifth day guest’s drive on a tour of Agra where in they visit places like Agra Fort and Sikandra.
Agra Fort is built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan; however the initial foundation was laid by his father Emperor Akbar. This fort is crescent shaped, flattered on the eastern side and rises at a height of 69 feet and measures around 2.5 kms in perimeter. Sikandra is just 4 kms away from the city of Agra. Sikandra is a structure where one finds the tomb of Emperor Akbar. Sikandra has three storey minarets on it four orders which are built in red sandstone along with striking inlay of marble.
Later in the evening guests are transferred to the Tundla Railway Station where they will board a train to Varanasi. Overnight stay will be in the train.
DAY 06: Varanasi
On the sixth morning guests arrive at the Mughal Sarai Railway Station in Varanasi. On arrival guests are transferred to the hotel. There after they are taken on a full day of sightseeing tour of the city. Guests visit some of the important places which include Temples and Museum.
Sarnath temple which is a referred to be a sacred place for the Buddhist, people believe that Lord Buddha used to preach his sermons at this place. Even guests visit the museum which possesses artifacts which date back to the third century BC.
In the evening, guests return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
DAY 07: Varanasi - Delhi
On the seventh day of the Classical North India Tour guests will go on an excursion of the Holy Ganges River by boat cruise. Stretched over 1560 miles across north of India this River Ganges is referred to as the mother goddess and a sacred place for worship. In the afternoon guests are transferred to Delhi by flight. On arrival at Delhi guests are free at their own leisure and in the night they are transferred to the International Airport in order to board a flight back home.
