DAY 01: Delhi
On day one of the North India Delight Tour, you will arrive at Delhi, the capital city of India. On arrival, you will be received by our representative and transferred to a hotel. In the afternoon, you will go on a sight seeing trip of Old and New Delhi. You will visit the famous historical sites of Delhi like the Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Birla Mandir, Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple and India Gate etc. Red Fort and Jama Masjid are architectural landmarks in red sandstone, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan Chandani Chowk is a busy market place in Old Delhi. Qutub Minar is the tallest brick minaret and it was built by Qutubuddin Aibak. Raj Ghat is the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Birla Mandir is dedicated to Lord Laxminarayana. Lotus Temple is the religious place of the Bahai sect. India Gate is a war memorial. Overnight stay is in Delhi hotel.
DAY 02: Delhi- Srinagar
The second day of the North India Delight Tour takes you from Delhi to Srinagar by flight. On arrival in Srinagar, you are transferred to a Deluxe Houseboat. In the evening, you will be taken on a boat ride to the floating gardens in the famous Dal Lake.
DAY 03: Srinagar
On the third day, you will go on city tour of Srinagar. You will see the beautifully landscaped Mughal Gardens – Chasmeshahi Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh along with the Shankaracharya Temple, Lal Chowk and Hazratbal Shrine.
DAY 04: Srinagar- Gulmarg - Srinagar
Today, you will go on a day long excursion to Gulmarg. It is a scenic hill resort of Kashmir with beautiful landscapes of snow clad mountains, skiing slopes, world’s highest golf course and electric cable car.
DAY 05: Srinagar - Kargil
On day 5 of the North India Delight Tour, you will drive to Kargil in the morning. It is located centrally in the Kashmir Valley and encircled by the Himalayan Mountains. Kargil serves as an ideal night halt for the travelers who are journeying from Srinagar to Leh or vice versa. It is renowned for various adventure activities.
DAY 06: Kargil – Leh
On the morning of the sixth day, you will drive to Leh and check in at the hotel upon arrival.
DAY 07: Leh
Day 7 of the North India Delight Tour is free for relaxation and leisure, so that you get used to the atmosphere of high altitude. In the evening, you will visit the Leh Palace and Market.
DAY 08: Around Leh
The North India Delight Tour takes you on a sight seeing trip of Leh and its surrounding places on day 8. You will see the famous tourist attractions like the Namgyal Gompa, Sankar Gompa and Shanti Stupa.
DAY 09: Leh – Alchi
In the morning, you will drive to Alchi and check in at the hotel on arrival. In the afternoon, you will take a sightseeing tour of Alchi. Alchi Gompa is one of the most ancient Buddhist monasteries, dating back to 1000 AD. It was built by Rinchen Zangpo and contains many statues, images and paintings of Buddha.
DAY 10: Alchi – Leh
The morning is free for relaxing and in the afternoon, you will drive to Leh. On arrival in Leh, you will check in at the hotel for the overnight stay.
DAY 11: Leh – Jammu – Amritsar
On the morning of day 11 of the North India Delight Tour, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Jammu. On arrival in Jammu, you will drive to Amritsar. At Amritsar, you will check in at the hotel. In the evening, you will witness the Pooja Ceremony at the Golden Temple. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 12: Amritsar
Today, you will go on a sightseeing trip of Amritsar city and visit the Jalianwala Bagh Memorial, Durgiana Mandir, Baba Atal Rai Tower and Wagah Border. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 13: Amritsar – Delhi
In the morning, you will be transferred to the railway station to board a Delhi bound train. On arrival in Delhi, you will check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for resting.
DAY 14: Delhi – Jaipur
On day 14 of the North India Delight Tour, you will drive to Jaipur in the morning and check in at the hotel on arrival. The overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 15: In Jaipur
In the morning you will go an excursion of the Amber Fort, followed by a sightseeing trip of Jaipur city. Jaipur is Rajasthan’s capital city and is famous as The Pink City. The places of tourist interest in Jaipur include the City Palace and Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, JaiGarh and Nawalgarh Forts in addition to many more.
DAY 16: Jaipur – Agra
Today, you will drive to Agra in the morning and see Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary on the way. You will check in at the hotel on arrival in Agra.
DAY 17: In Agra
The North India Delight Tour takes you on a sunrise visit of Taj Mahal on the 17th day. After this, you will return to the hotel for change, wash and breakfast and later go on a sightseeing tour of Agra. You will drive to Delhi in the afternoon.
DAY 18: Return to Delhi
The last day of the North India Delight Tour can be utilized for shopping. In the evening, you will be transferred to the International Airport for further journey.
