DAY 01: Delhi
Guests leave from their country for the tour and arrive in Delhi.
Day 02: Arrival in Delhi
When guests arrive in Delhi, the representative receives them and helps them in transferring to the hotel. The overnight stay is in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi, Jodhpur
Post breakfast, tourists leave for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. The sightseeing includes places such as Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana which are the memorials of Mahatma Gandhi – the father of the Nation and Jawaharlal Nehru – India’s first Prime Minister . Visit to the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk is also arranged .
Day 04: Jodhpur
Upon arrival in Jodhpur, travelers check in at the hotel and after some rest, they head for sightseeing. During the sightseeing, guests visit places such as Mehrangarh Fort, Phool Mahal, and also Moti Mahal. The Jaswant Thada is a marvelous marble structure which guests visit along with museum in the Umaid public gardens. The overnight stay is in Jodhpur.
Day 05: Jodhpur, Jaisalmer
The fifth day of the tour is at the full disposal of the guests and they can explore the town Jodhpur. At 12 guests check out from the hotel and later on in the evening board the train bound for Jaisalmer. The night is spent in the train itself.
Day 06: Jaisalmer
Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, visitors check in at the hotel and rest. Later in the day, they get to visit places such as fort, havelis, and the colorful bazaars of the city. The havelis are like mansion that are grand and are decorated with exquisite and elaborate art work. The havelis date back to the 12th and 15th century. The overnight stay is arranged in Jaisalmer.
Day 07: Jaisalmer, Jodhpur
This day is fully at the disposal of the guests while in Jaisalmer. The check out time from the hotel is 1200hrs and later in the evening, they are transferred to the railway station to board the train for Jodhpur. Overnight stay is on board.
Day 08: Jodhpur, Ranakpur, Udaipur
Guests arrive in Jodhpur and from there, they drive to Udaipur and on their way, visit the Ranakpur Temples. Ranakpur is famous for its collection of the Jain temples that date back to the 15th century. Every pillar of the 1444 pillars of the temple is unique and is different from the rest. The Surya Temple is also worth exploring. The overnight stay is in Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur
Post breakfast, guests leave for a tour of Udaipur. The attractions in the visit include Jagdish Temple, the beautiful Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion Ki Bari and the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. Guests can relax in the afternoon; the overnight stay is in Udaipur.
Day 10: Udaipur, Jaipur
In the morning, guests are free to do anything at leisure. The checkout time from hotel is 12 noon and later on in the evening, guests board the train to Jaipur. Overnight stay is on board.
Day 11: Jaipur
Tourists arrive in Jaipur at morning and check in at the hotel. Later on, after some rest, there is the sightseeing tour of the region that includes tourist attractions like Amber Fort, which was once the capital of the state. Sheesh Mahal is another interesting site scintillating with mirrors all over. The elephant ride takes the guests to the top of the fort. In the afternoon there is the tour of the city. The pink city of Jaipur is now almost 260 years old. The City Palace, the observatory, and Ram Niwas Gardens are other attractions for the guests. The Hawa Mahal is another beautiful structure. The overnight stay is in Jaipur.
Day 12: Jaipur – Agra
Post breakfast, guests are free in the morning and later on, they board the train bound for Agra. Visitors arrive late in evening in Agra and are transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.
Day 13: Agra - New Delhi
After breakfast, guests head to witness the unparalleled beauty of the world famous Taj Mahal. It is the greatest love monument of the world built by Shah Jahan in 1630 in the memory of his wife. Guests also visit the Agra Fort that houses Pearl Mosque. There are also two halls which the king used for public and private audience in his times. Noorjehan, the Mughal Empress built the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah as a tribute to her father. The guests leave Agra for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, they check in at the hotel.
Day 14: Home
On the last day of the North India Rail Tour, guests head for the airport to board flights that take them back to their next destinations and here the tour ends on a happy note.
