DAY 01: Delhi
The North India Splendour Tour begins at Delhi, which is the capital city of India. On arrival, guests are received by our representative and transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: Delhi
The North India Splendour Tour starts on the second day. It takes the guests on a sight seeing trip of Delhi which include New Delhi and Old Delhi. Guests will visit some of the popular tourist destinations such as India Gate, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Gandhi Museum, Raj Ghat, Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Birla Temple, Jama Masjid and Lotus Temple. Qutub Minar is one of the tallest brick minarets, built by Qutubuddin Aibak, while the Red Fort is an architectural landmark of red sandstone which was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. Besides these destinations, guests also visit the Parliament House and the President’s official residence.. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
DAY 03: Delhi – Agra
On the third day, guests will be transferred to the railway station as they have to leave to Agra by Shatabdi Express. On reaching Agra, guests will be escorted to the hotel. In the afternoon, they visit the most beautiful love mausoleum -The Taj Mahal. This magnificent structure was built by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. This structure is among the New Seven Wonders of the World. Guests return back to their hotel and stay put in Agra for the night.
DAY 04: Agra
On the fourth day of the North India Splendour Tour, guests will visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. This city was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. After returning from Fatehpur Sikri, guests are free in the evening as they can explore the colorful bazaar of Agra and shop for few memorable items. Overnight stay is in Agra.
DAY 05: Agra - Gwalior
On the fifth day of the North India Splendour Tour, guests are transferred to the railway station where they will be boarding a train for Gwalior. The city of Gwalior is well renowned for the Scindia dynasty. On arrival at Gwalior, guests are escorted to their hotel and in the afternoon, they visit one of the spectacular forts of that city. In the evening, they return back to the hotel and stay overnight in Gwalior.
DAY 06: Gwalior/Orchha/Khajuraho
On the sixth day, guests are transferred to the railway station where they board Shatabdi Express for Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, they drive to Orchha. Post lunch session, guests leave for a sightseeing tour of this magnificence city of Orchha and later proceed to the city of Khajuraho. On arriving in Khajuraho, guests will stay overnight at a hotel in Khajuraho.
DAY 07: Khajuraho
Seventh day of the North India Splendour Tour will commence after a sumptuous breakfast. Guests visit the most popular Chandela Dynasty temples, which were built in the tenth and eleventh centuries. Well renowned for its exotic facets of Kama Sutra, these temples are one of the best tourist destinations in the city. In the afternoon, guests are free as they can rejuvenate themselves relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay is in Khajuraho.
DAY 08: Khajuraho – Varanasi
On the eight day, guests are transferred to the airport where they take a flight to Varanasi. It is , generally known as Benaras and is considered to be the holiest city in India. On arrival at Varanasi airport, guests are transferred to their hotel and post lunch session; guests are being introduced about this sacred city. Overnight stay is in Varanasi.
DAY 09: Varanasi - Delhi
On the ninth day of the North India Splendour Tour, guests take a boat ride in the River Ganges. Thereafter, they proceed to Sarnath. 10 kilometers away from Varanasi, Sarnath is a place where Buddha used to preach his opening sermon. This place contains a Mula Gandha Kutir Vihara and Museum which stores rich examples of Buddhist sculptures. In the evening, guests are transferred to the airport where they leave to Delhi by flight. On arrival at the Delhi airport they are escorted to the hotel. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
DAY 10: Delhi
The tenth day of the North India Splendour Tour is free as guests can explore the capital city of India. In the evening, they are transported to the international airport from where guests fly back to their destination. Here ends the magnificent North India Splendour Tour.
