DAY 01: Arrive at Delhi
The North India Tour with Taj begins at Delhi, the capital city of India. On arrival, at Delhi airport, guests are received by our representative and will be transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: Delhi
The North India Tour with Taj starts on the second day. Post breakfast session, guests are taken on a sightseeing tour of Delhi which includes famous tourist destinations in New Delhi and Old Delhi. Guests will visit some of the great locations which include the India Gate, Raj Ghat, Gandhi Museum, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Birla Temple, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk.
India Gate, which is situated on the Rajpath is built to honor seventy thousand Indian soldiers who died during the First World War. Red Fort is an architectural landmark of red sandstone which was built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. Jama Masjid which is just opposite Red Fort is one of the largest mosques in India built by the Emperor Shahjahan. Qutub Minar is one of the tallest brick minarets, built by Qutubuddin Aibak in 1199. Besides these destinations guests also visit the Parliament House. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
DAY 03: Delhi / Jodhpur / Jaisalmer
On the third day morning, guests will be transferred to the airport where they board a flight to Jodhpur. On arrival at the Jodhpur airport, guests will proceed to Jaisalmer by road. Reaching Jaisalmer guests check-in at the hotel where they can refresh and rejuvenate themselves relaxing at the hotel. Overnight stay is in Jaisalmer.
DAY 04: Jaisalmer
On the fourth day of the North India Tour with Taj, guests are offered a sumptuous breakfast. Later they are taken for a sightseeing tour of this golden city of Jaisalmer. At Jaisalmer guests can visit several interesting places such as Manak Chowk, Jaisalmer Fort, Desert National; Park, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ki Haveli, Gadsisar Sagar Tank and Bara Bagh. Returning back to the hotel guests have an overnight stay is in Jaisalmer.
DAY 05: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After the breakfast session on the fifth day morning of the North India Tour with Taj Mahal, guests are transferred to Jodhpur by road. On reaching Jodhpur, guests have lunch and then they visit Umaid Bhawan Palace. This palace was built between the year 1929 and 1944 by His Highness Umaid Singhji. Originally built as a private residence, this palace is now converted into a first class hotel. Later guests return back to their hotels for an overnight stay in Jodhpur.
DAY 06: Jodhpur - Udaipur
On the sixth day, guests are transferred to the airport to board a flight to Udiapur. On arrival at Udiapur airport, guests are transferred to the hotel where they check-in the hotel and relax. In the evening guests are at their own leisure and later an overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 07: Udaipur – Jaipur
Seventh day of the North India Tour with Taj Mahal will initiate after a sumptuous breakfast. Later, guests proceed for a sightseeing tour of Udiapur. This city is well renowned for its beautiful lake palaces, lovely lakes, gardens, temples and colorful festivals. At Udaipur, guests will visit City Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, Fateh Sagar and Sahelion-ki-Bari.
City Palace is one of the largest royal palaces in Rajasthan which is located on the banks of Lake Pichola. This palace possesses eleven beautiful Mahals with towers and balconies which offer one of the breathtaking views of the city and the lake. Lake Palace is another enchanting tourist attraction in Udaipur. This palace was built by Maharaja Jagat Singh II in the year 1754. This palace is also situated on the banks of Lake Pichola. In the evening guests are transferred to the pink city of Jaipur where guests check-in the hotel and stay overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 08: Jaipur
On the eight day of the North India Tour with Taj tour, guests have their breakfast and proceed to an excursion tour to the Amber Fort. This fort is situated on the outskirts of the city. Guests can also have a elephant ride at the fort. From there guests visit a rug factory where they can watch several ladies performing their difficult work. Also they visit a gem factory and come across the process of gem polishing and cutting. In the evening guests return back to the hotel for an over night stay at Jaipur.
DAY 09: Jaipur - Agra
On the ninth day of the tour, guests proceed to the lovely city of Agra after having their breakfast. On reaching Agra guests visit Itmadullah’s tomb built by the Empress Noor Jehan in memory of her father. It is believed that the interiors of Itmadullah’s tomb are better that than of Taj Mahal. Later in the evening, guests return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.
DAY 10: Agra – Varanasi
On the tenth day guests proceed towards the Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. This historical structure is also among the Seven Wonders of the World. After that guests are transferred to the city of Varanasi which is the holiest place in India. On arrival guests check-in at the hotel and spend an overnight stay in Varanasi.
DAY 11: Varanasi – Delhi
On the eleventh day of the North India Tour with Taj Mahal, guests drive their way to the Daswamedh Ghat where they can take a boat ride on the sacred Ganges River. Guests can watch the cremation Ghats. Later guests get transferred to Delhi by flight. On arrival at Delhi guests have their dinner. Over here ends the tour of North India with Taj Mahal. Guests are transferred to the international airport where they board their flight back to home.
