DAY 01: Delhi
The Pilgrimage Tour in North India begins at Delhi. On arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel. In the afternoon, you will take a city tour of Old Delhi and visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. Red Fort is a grand red sandstone structure with Mughal styled architecture, built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Jama Masjid is a magnificent mosque of red sandstone, built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Chandni Chowk is a busy market place in Old Delhi. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

DAY 02: Delhi
The second day of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India takes you on a sight seeing trip of New Delhi. In the morning, you will visit the famous sites of Delhi like the Qutub Minar, Birla Mandir, Parliament House, Jantar Mantar, Humayuns Tomb and India Gate. Qutub Minar is the tallest brick minaret and it was built by Qutubuddin Aibak. Birla Mandir is dedicated to Lord Laxminarayana. Jantar Mantar is one of the five observatories in India, built by Maharaja Jaisingh. Parliament House is the highest government office of India. India Gate is a war memorial. Afternoon is free for optional visits to museums and in the evening, you can enjoy Indian dances with dinner at the ethnic restaurant at Hauz Khas. Overnight stay is in Delhi hotel.
DAY 03: Delhi
On the third day, you will travel to the capital city of Rajasthan- Jaipur, the Pink City. It is world famous for its marvelous forts, palaces, temples and museums. In the afternoon, you will take a city tour of Jaipur and see the City Palace Museum and Hawa Mahal and take a stroll through the colourful market of Jaipur. From here, you will drive to Agra in air conditioned car and check in at the hotel on arrival. You will see the world famous Agra Fort and Taj Mahal in the evening. Overnight stay is in Agra.
DAY 04: Jaipur
Today, you will depart for Jaipur early in the morning and see the majestic Amber Fort while enjoying a ride on elephant back. You will enjoy this truly royal experience in the charming and rugged terrains of the Amber Fort. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.
DAY 05: Jaipur - Agra
On the morning of the fifth day, you will drive to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. On arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will see the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. You will return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
DAY 06: Agra- Sikandara- Delhi
Day 6 of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India takes you to Delhi. On the way, you will see the Akbars beautiful tomb at Sikandara. On arrival in Delhi, you are transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day can be spent in relaxing. Overnight stay is in Delhi.
DAY 07: Delhi - Lucknow - Sravasti
On the seventh day, you will take an early morning flight to Lucknow and check in at the hotel on arrival. In the afternoon, you will drive to Sravasti and see the ruins of the ancient city and Jetavana Monastery. Dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 08: Sravasti Kushinagar
On day 8 of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India, you will drive to Kushinagar and check into the hotel on arrival. Kushinagar is an important Buddhist pilgrimage centre as it is the place of Mahaparinirvana. In the afternoon, you will see the main temple, monasteries and central Stupa. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 09: Kushinagar- Patna
Today, you will drive to Patna and visit Vaishali city enroute. On arrival in Patna, check in at the hotel and stay there for the night.
DAY 10: Patna Nalanda Rajgir Bodhgaya
On day 10 of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India, you will drive to Bodhgaya and see Nalanda and Rajgir on the way. Nalanda is famous for its archeological site, ancient world university and museum and Rajgir is Lord Buddhas meditation and preaching place. On arrival in Bodhgaya, you will check in the hotels for overnight stay.
DAY 11: Bodhgaya
Today, the Pilgrimage Tour in North India takes you on a sightseeing trip of Bodhgaya, the place where Lord Gautam Buddha attained Nirvana. You will also see the Mahabodhi, Chaukramana, Shaivite Monastery and the renowned Jagannathg Temple. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay is at the hotel.
DAY 12: Bodhgaya Varanasi
On the 12th day, you will drive to Varanasi and check in at the hotel on arrival. Later in the day, you will take a city tour of Sarnath and see the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 13: Varanasi Bhopal
Today, you will take an early morning boat ride in the sacred Ganges River and see the famous ghats. After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple and Banaras Hindu University. You will board train from Varanasi to reach Bhopal in the morning. On arrival, you will check in at the hotel.
Day 14: Bhopal- Mumbai
On day 14 of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India, you will see the Sanchi Stupa near Bhopal and then leave for Mumbai by flight. You will check in at the hotel and stay there for the night.
DAY 15: Mumbai Aurangabad
Today, you will fly to Aurangabad to see the world famous Ajanta and Ellora caves, famous for the Buddhist carvings, paintings and temples. Overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 16: Mumbai
On the last day of the Pilgrimage Tour in North India, you are flown back to Mumbai for your further journey.
