DAY 01: Arrival in Delhi
The Romance with Taj Mahal Tour starts at Delhi, the capital of India. On arrival, you would be taken to the hotel for a warm welcome.
DAY 02: Delhi
After breakfast, the Romance with Taj Mahal tour would take you for a sightseeing tour to the Old Delhi which would include the Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque and the Red Fort which is made of red sandstone. Post lunch the tour will visit India Gate–a war memorial, Qutub Minar- the largest brick minaret, Humayun’s Tomb built in the memory of the late emperor, Humayun and the Laxminarayan Temple.
DAY 03: Delhi – Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur, ‘pink city’ of Rajasthan, named after Maharaja Jai Singh and check into a hotel.
DAY 04: Jaipur - Pushkar
After the breakfast, we would visit the grand Amber fort where one would be taken on elephant back right till the entrance of the fort. In the evening, the tour would spend time at the camel fair.
DAY 05: Pushkar
The entire day is spent in Pushkar enjoying the activities at Pushkar fair.
DAY 06: Pushkar – Udaipur
After finishing breakfast, the tour proceeds to Udaipur in the east and one would check into the hotel.
DAY 07: Udaipur
After breakfast, the tourist will visit City Palace which was built back in 1725 and then the Sahelion ki Bari which is the garden of maids of honor. Post lunch, we will drive to Eklingji and Nagda in order to watch the beautiful ancient temples.
DAY 08: Udaipur – Mount Abu via Ranakpur
In the morning, the tourist would drive down to Mount Abu – a beautiful hill station and on the way visit the famed Jain temples of the Ranakpur town. Stay overnight at a resort in Mt. Abu.

DAY 09: Mount Abu – Jodhpur
In the morning, you could visit the Dilwara temples in Mount Abu or the various echo points. Post lunch we leave for Jodhpur and check into a hotel.
DAY 10: Jodhpur
In the morning, the Romance with Taj Mahal Tour would visit Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada and the museum which is the cremation place of the majestic family which lived here. After lunch, we will tour to Mandore the old capital of Marwar.
DAY 11: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
In the morning, the tour travels to Jaisalmer located in the center of Thar Desert. Post lunch, we visit the magnificent Chhatris of Maharwals in Jaisalmer and later take a camel ride at the Sam to watch the beautiful sunset.
DAY 12: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
We arrive at Bikaner and visit the Junagarh Fort and the marvelous Palaces.
DAY 13: Bikaner – Mandawa
After breakfast, we leave for Mandawa visiting an old castle and the various ancient Havelis located on the popular silk route.
DAY 14: Mandawa – Bharatpur
We make a ride to Bharatpur and visit the popular Bharatpur bird sanctuary and view the wide variety of birds.
DAY 15: Bharatpur – Agra
We arrive at Agra, the city of Taj Mahal which is one of the most popular monuments of India and is included in the Seven Wonders of the World. The structure of the Taj Mahal is made entirely out of white marble and was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. This epitome of love has a great romantic significance and is visited by millions of tourists from all over the world. Later in the day, one can visit the shopping center in Agra.
DAY 16: Agra-Delhi-Madras
In the morning, you could visit the Taj Mahal to watch the sunrise which is one of the most beautiful sights. In the afternoon, the Romance with Taj Mahal Tour takes the flight for Madras and checks into a hotel.
DAY 17: Madras
In Madras, we visit the Kapaleeswara temple which is dedicated to the Lord Shiva and see the Snake park too.
DAY 18: Madras – Tanjore
We drive down to Tanjore and immediately check into the hotel. Romance with Taj Mahal Tour takes the day off for relaxing.
DAY 19: Tanjore – Madurai
In the morning, we visit the Brihadeshwara temple built back in 11th century dedicated to goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu and then visit the popular Saraswati Mahal library in Tanjore. We leave for Madurai after lunch.
DAY 20: Madurai – Periyar
In the morning, we visit the world famed Meenakshi Sundereshwara temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Meenakshi goddess and after lunch travel to the Periyar wild life sanctuary. In Periyar, we check into a hotel near the sanctuary.
DAY 21: Periyar – Allepey
We visit the Periyar wild life sanctuary in the morning and take a boat ride at magnificent lake to have a closer view of wild elephants and some other animals. Later in the day, we drive down to Allepey which is located amidst the Kerala backwaters.
DAY 22: Allepey – Cochin
We take a cruise boat on the beautiful backwaters in Kerala and then continue the onward road journey to Cochin. In Cochin we would visit the fantastic Chinese fishing nets that are at the backwaters and then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 23: Cochin
In Cochin, we make a trip to the various churches and islands such as the Dutch Palace also known as Bolghatty Palace, St. Francis Church – the oldest European church, Jewish synagogue which is oldest synagogue in the commonwealth countries, Mattancherry Palace depicting scenes from the epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana and Santa Cruz Basilica, which is a church built in 1558 with beautiful paintings on the ceiling.
DAY 24: Cochin – Coimbatore
Post breakfast, we travel to Coimbatore and visit Maruthamalai temple dedicated to Lord Muruga.
DAY 25: Coimbatore – Ooty
Romance with Taj Mahal Tour drives down to Ooty, which is known as the queen of hill stations and spends the day at leisure amidst the scenic surroundings and salubrious climate.
DAY 26: Ooty - Mysore
We leave for Mysore and visit the magnificent Mysore Palace, the famous Brindavan Gardens known for their musical fountains and soft colored lightings, Chamundeeswari temple, dedicated to goddess Chamundeeswari worshipped by the royal families, and Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan that was built in 1930 for the guests of the Wodeyars.
DAY 27: Mysore – Belur – Halebid
Romance with Taj Mahal Tour leaves for Belur to visit the Chennkesava temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and the Halebid temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
DAY 28: Halebid – Bangalore
We drive down to Bangalore to board a flight to reach Mumbai.
DAY 29: Mumbai and departure
The entire day is spent in Mumbai visiting the Hanging gardens, the Prince of Wales Museum built in 1914 which has a priceless collection of miniature paintings, rare coins and more, Gateway of India in Appollo Bunder, Marine Drive the winding stretch of road which extends from Nariman Point to Malabar Hills. In the evening Romance with Taj Mahal Tour will make arrangement for the evening to reach the International Airport for you to board your flight home.
