DAY 01: Arrive at Delhi
On the first day of Shimla Honeymoon Tour, you will arrive in Delhi the capital of India- Delhi. You can reach here by air, railway or road. Our assistants will receive you from the airport, railway station or bus stand. Later, you will be taken to the hotel in Delhi. Spend your first day of the Shimla Honeymoon Tour at leisure with your better half.
DAY 02: Delhi to Shimla (by train)
The next day of the Shimla Honeymoon Tour, you will visit the heaven on Earth, Shimla. You will reach to this place by railway. The journey to Shimla will be a memorable event as the train passes through some enchanting surroundings. As the train reaches near Shimla, you will see snow covered mountains. The surroundings are covered with lush green valleys and mesmerizing rivers.
As the place is a hilly region, you will feel colder as you reach nearer. Once you reach to Shimla, relax for the remaining day. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel in Shimla. Our assistant will guide you throughout your journey.
DAY 03: Shimla
The third day is dedicated to the visit to various places in Shimla. It is a favorite spot for the newly weds. In the Shimla Honeymoon Tour, you will visit places such as Lakkar Bazaar, The Ridge, Jakhoo and the Glen. Out of these the Lakkar Bazaar is a shopping market place. You and your better half will enjoy shopping for wooden articles here. If you are a sports freak, then go for roller-skating near this Bazaar in a proper rink. To reach to the Lakkar Bazaar, you will pass through the Ridge. It is a vast open area in central Shimla. There is a huge water reservoir in the Ridge area. Jakhoo is the highest peak in Shimla. It gives a pleasant view of Shivalik ranges and the Sanjauli town situated in the valley. The Jakhoo peak is about 2.5 kms from the Ridge. You can also visit to the Hanuman temple in Jakhoo.
The Glen is a dense forest at about four kms from the Ridge. It is truly a romantic place as there are sprightly streams flowing in the forest. Other than these the Shimla Honeymoon Tour comprises of visit to Kamna Devi temple on Prospect hill. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 4: Shimla to Manali (by road)
The next day you will travel to another hilly destination of Shimla Honeymoon Tour, Manali. You will remember this enchanting journey as the road passes through lush green surroundings. Deep emerald green valleys and blue sky make a mesmerizing scenario. Spend the remaining day at the hotel in Manali.
Day 5: Manali
After the breakfast in the morning of fifth day, you can go for sightseeing in Manali. The hilly region is also a religious place. There are large numbers of temples in Manali. There is a Hadimba temple in Manali. It is amongst most significant temples in this place. Located in the Dhungiri forest, the temple comprises of four floors, all built in wood. This temple was built in 1553 for the Goddess Hidimba. You can visit the only temple of Manu in Manali. The place got its name after this sage Manu, who is believed to be the originator of the human specie on the Earth. You can also visit the Vashistha temple here.
Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh
On the sixth day of the Shimla Honeymoon Tour, you will visit the Indian Union Territory- Chandigarh. It is the capital of two Indian states, Haryana and Punjab. The city got its name after the famous temple of Chandi. Chandigarh means “the fort of goddess Chandi”. It is the only city in India which is planned by a foreigner. Chandigarh is known as city of gardens, as there are large numbers of landscaped gardens in the city. Most famous amongst them is the Rock Garden. A beautiful arrangement of rocks and plants can be seen in this garden. After the sightseeing, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7: Chandigarh to Delhi
On the final day of the Shimla Honeymoon Tour you will travel back to Delhi. From the International Airport in Delhi, you can fly back to your home or the next destination on your travel list.
