DAY 01: Arrive at Delhi
On arrival at the Delhi International Airport, guests are received by our representatives and are transferred to a hotel for an overnight stay. At the hotel guests are given a traditional Indian welcome which comprise of garlands and aarti-tika.
DAY 02: Delhi
The second day of the Temples and Tiger Tour of North India begins post breakfast session. Guests will be taken on a sightseeing trip of Delhi which include tourist destinations in New and Old Delhi. Guests will visit some of the popular tourist destinations such as Raj Ghat, India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Jama Masjid, Gandhi Museum, Chandani Chowk, Birla Temple and Lotus Temple. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
DAY 03: Delhi – Mandawa
On the third day, guests will be transferred to the Mandawa. On reaching Mandawa guests will be escorted to the hotel. Post lunch session they visit the Shekhawati region. This region is often called as the Open art gallery of Rajasthan. The high-class frescoes of this region are world famous which dates back from the years 1750 and 1930. Guests return back to their hotel and stay overnight in Mandawa.
DAY 04: Mandawa – Bikaner - Gajner
On the fourth day, guests are transferred to Bikaner. Post lunch session they are taken on a sightseeing tour of Bikaner. This city was founded by Roa Bikhaji in the year 1488. Next visit the Junagarh Fort which was built by Raja Jai Singhji in the year 1593. From there guests will moved towards Gajner the city built by Maharaja Sir Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. DAY 05: Gajner - Jaisalmer
Day fifth day of the North India Splendour Tour, the guests are transferred to Jaislamer. Jaisalmer is referred to as the golden city of Rajasthan. The magnificent stone and wooden carved buildings and mansions display the affection of the Rajputs towards the fine art. This city is famous for its havelis, forts and sand dunes along with the camel rides which are the main attraction of the city. The overnight stay is in Jaislamer.
DAY 06: Jaisalmer
Post breakfast session on the seventh day, guests are taken on the sightseeing tour of the city. Guests will visit forts, havelis, palaces and temples of this region. Patwon-ke-haveli and the Jaisalmer Fort are among the best places of tourist attractions in Jaisalmer. Return back for an overnight stay is at Jaisalmer.
DAY 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur - Luni
Day seven, the guests are transferred to Jodhpur which is referred to as blue city. The city of Jodhpur stands on the border of the Thar Desert and was founded by Rao Jodha. From Jodhpur guests move towards the small village of Luni which is round about 35 kms from Jodhpur. This village is famous for its Chanwa Fort which is an example of symmetry and elegance in the Indian architecture of the last century. Overnight stay is in Luni.
DAY 08: Luni - Udaipur
On the eighth day, guests are transferred to Udaipur which is the lake city of Rajasthan. On reaching Udaipur, guests can witness the daily lifestyle of living of the local people and also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with them. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 09: Udaipur
On the ninth morning, guests are taken on a sightseeing tour of the city. They visit the famous marble palace which is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola. This palace was once the residence of Maharana Udai Singh which is now converted into a first class hotel. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 10: Udaipur – Deogarh
On the tenth day of the tour, guests are transferred to Deogarh the city which was founded by Rawat Dwarkadasji in the year 1670. In the city of Deogarh, guests can explore Dashavatar temple and Deogarh Mahal. Overnight stay is in Deogarh.
DAY 11: Deogarh – Khajrela
Next day guests are taken to the city of Khajrela which is about 184 kms from Deogarh. This city appears to rise out of the plains of Narwar similar to a sentry. There are many temples, stepwells and cenotaphs in the surrounding area. Guests can also visit villages of Bisnoi and Raika. Overnight stay is in Khajrela.
DAY 12: Khajrela – Pushkar
Post breakfast session guests drive towards Pushkar which is about 180 kms from Khajrela. Enroute to Pushkar guests visit Ajmer which is recognized as the sacred place for Muslims. Ajmer is situated on the shores of Ana Sagar Lake which is bordered by barren hills. From Ajmer, it is only 11 kms distance to reach the city of Pushkar. On arrival, guests visit the Brahma temple which is dedicated to Brahma. Overnight stay is in Udaipur.
DAY 13: Pushkar – Jaipur
On the next morning, guests are transferred to the pink city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. It takes only 3 hours to reach the city of Jaipur which is surrounded by Aravali hills. This city was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh in the year 1727. On reaching the city guests check in at a hotel and later go on a sightseeing tour of the city. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 14: Jaipur
On the fourteenth day guests are taken to Amer Fort which is located on a ridge outside the city. This fort was built in the 18th century and it offers a interesting insight into the way of life of the families of Mughal rulers. In the afternoon they enjoy a rickshaw cycle ride through the busy roads of the bazaar. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 15: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Next day, guests are transferred to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri which is around 221 kms from Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri is a remarkable sandstone fortress which was built in the sixteenth century. Thereafter the guests drive towards Agra which is world renowned because of Taj Mahal. It is the mausoleum built by Emperor Shahjahan in memory of her wife Mumtaj Mahal. Later guests visit some other important places in Agra and return back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.
DAY 16: Agra - Delhi
Post breakfast session, guests visit the Red Fort which lies on the banks of Yamuna River. Emperor Akbar built this Red Fort in the year 1573 which is one of the finest architectural structures of the city. Later after lunch guests drive their way towards Delhi which is almost 203 kms from Agra. On arrival guests check in at the hotel and spend the night in Delhi.
DAY 17: Delhi
In the morning, guests are transferred to the International Airport from where they depart as the Temples and Tiger Tour of North India ends on a happy note.
