Day 01: Mandawa
On the first day of the tour, tourists travel to Mandawa which is a 250 kms journey. The town of Mandawa is renowned all over the world for its frescoe paintings on the havelis or the mansions. Visitors check in at the castle and the evening is free to spend a leisurely time in the busy market of the town. The traditional dinner at the castle will be in the style of the royalty with torch bearers and the drums accompanied.
Day 02: Mandawa, Jaipur
On the second day of the tour, visitors enjoy camel safari and also do sightseeing of the local area. In the evening travelers travel to Jaipur and upon arrival stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur
Post breakfast, tourists visit the city palace, the palace of wind and from there head for Amber Fort. This was old capital of Jaipur which Raja Man Singh built in the 16th century . It is constructed of red sandstones and white marbles.. Some of the interesting sights inside the structure include the Sheesh Mahal, Jai Mandir, Sukh Niwas Baodi and many other such sights. Visitors can enjoy a Maharaja Style ascent to the fort by an elephant ride. The next attraction for the tourists is the Jaigarh Fort which served as the armoury for the state in older times. There is cannon on wheels which is not found anywhere in the world. In the evening visitors start for Bharatpur.
Day 04: Bharatpur
Early in the morning, visitors take the rickshaw and visit the famous bird sanctuary after the visit have breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast guests visit the fort and head for Agra. Visitors arrive in Agra before sunset and head directly to the Taj Mahal. The overnight stay is in Agra.
Day 05: Khajuraho
Travelers boards the flight for Khajuraho and in the evening enjoy the visit to the temples. These temples are world famous for their sculptures which depict the love life of the ancient people.
Day 06: Varanasi
In the morning, tourists visit the temples and in the afternoon, board the flight for Varanasi also called Kashi which is the holiest of city for Hindus. Visitors check in at the hotel and head for the ghats along the Ganges River to witness the spectacular view of the sun set as well as the arti in the evening. There is also a boat ride in the river.
Day 07: Varanasi
Getting up early in the morning travelers take to the ghats again to witness devout Hindus praying to the sun god. Post breakfast visitors head for the Kashi Vishwanath temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Guests also get to visit Sarnath which is the place where Lord Buddha sought emancipation. In the evening travelers board the train for Gorakhpur.
Day 08: Gorakhpur
Tourists arrive at Gorakhpur in the morning and check in at the heritage hotel Royal Retreat. Post breakfast visitors have an elephant safari as well as picnic lunch. The overnight stay is at the heritage hotel.
Day 09: Kapilavastu, Lumbani, Chitwan National Park
Post breakfast; tourists visit Kapilavastu that dates back to ancient times and was the capital city of Lord Buddha’s state. Post lunch, visitors head for Lumbani in Nepal which also traces its links with Lord Buddha. From Lumbani, travelers head for Chitwan National Park which is only a three hours drive. The overnight stay is at a jungle resort or lodge.
Day 10: Chitwan National Park
Early in the morning, visitors take elephant ride and enter the park. The park is famous for animals like rhinos and other species of wildlife. Visitors spend a leisurely time in the afternoon by canoeing in the river. In the evening, visitors take the jeep ride that takes them into the heart of the park.
Day 11: Kathmandu
On the 11th day of the tour, tourists travel to Kathmandu which is a 250 kms journey and upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Day 12: Kathmandu
Post breakfast, visitors go on the local sightseeing of Kathmandu. There is also a flight that takes visitors over the Everest. Spend evening at casinos. The overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 13: Kathmandu
This day is dedicated for local sightseeing in Kathmandu as there are many interesting places for shopping here.
Day 14: Kathmandu, Delhi
Travelers leave Kathmandu and board the flight that takes them to Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi and Departure
This is the last day of the Wildlife Tour of India and Nepal and visitors travel back to their homes with sweet memories of the tour.
