Day 01: Dibrugarh
When you arrive at the Dibrugarh airport, you will be received by our representative who will arrange for your transfer to the tea estate. Have your lunch,then we will visit a tea garden. You will get the feel of the lifestyle of adivasis in the tea estate.Relax in a host bunglow inside the garden.Enjoy a stroll in the evening. Spend the night at the bunglow.
Day 02: Namdapha
Today you will drive to Namdapha National Park where you will check in at Camp Namdapha Resort.
Day 03: Namdapha National Park
Day spent in sightseeing at the Namdapha National Park and the tribal villages around the park. The national park is famous for different types of wild animals found here.
Day 04: Dibru Saikhowa National Park
You will visit the Dibru Saikhowa National Park, a place where you can see feral horses. Overnight at Dibru Saikowa.
Day 05: Roing- Brahmaputra River Crossing- Sadiya
Get up early in the morning as today you will drive to Sapakhowa ferry ghat where you will enjoy the river cruise in a ferry and cross the Brahmaputra. Our destination will be Sadiya, the capital of Chutiya kingdom in 13th and 14th century. Enjoy some local sightseeing then we will go to Roing to visit the ruins of Bhismaknagar. Night is spent at the Government Guesthouse.
Day 06: Pasighat- Siang - Lohit Rivers
Today we will go to Pasighat. You will be spellbound with the scenic beauty of the place at the confluence of rivers Siang and Lohit of Arunachal Pradesh that combine to form Brahmaputra River. Stay overnight at the Government Guesthouse.
Day 07: Along - Adi Tribal Village
Along (160km) is our destination today. On our way we will stop at Adi (Minyong), a tribal village where you can enjoy the dances and get to know about their culture. Check in at Govt. Circuit House on arrival at Along.
Day 08: Daporijo - Adi (Galong) Tribe
We will drive in the morning to an Adi Galong tribal village. Spend some time with the tribal here. Next we will drive to Daporijo (160km) where we spend the night at Govt. Circuit House.
Day 09: Ziro
Leave for Ziro (190km) today . This place is a hub of Apatani culture. Enroute enjoy the picturesque view of the fields.When you reach Ziro, you can enjoy the cultural events by Apatani locals and even join in a dance to their tunes. Night spent at Ziro Circuit House.
Day 10: Itanagar
Today early morning we will drive to Itanagar (180km), which is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Spend the day at leisure and night is spent at the hotel in Itanagar.
Day 11: Itanagar
Day is spent in local sightseeing. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Rupa - Shertukpen
You will drive to Rupa today in the morning. Enjoy the picturesque beauty of this tiny hill station. You will also visit Shertukpen Tribal village. Spend the night at Govt Guest House.
Day 13: Tawang - Sela Pass - Dirang Village
You will visit the upper and the lower 'Gompa' (Buddhist Monastery) at Bomdilla. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and then leave for Tawang.Next we will drive to Dirang Basti, a 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village. Situated on the banks of Dirang River , the town overlooks Sela Pass (13703ft) Jaswant, Garh Chino and Indian war memorial.Don’t miss the view of illuminated Tawang Monastery at night. Night spent at the hotel.
Day 14: Tawang
After breakfast, we will visit 350years old Buddhist monastery, which is also known as Gompa here. You can pay a visit to the nunneries known as Ani Gompa and Urgelling Monastery locally. The latter is 460 years old Monastery and was founded by lama Urghen Sangpo Bhumthang. Enjoy cultural performances like ethnic Monpa tribal dances and dances by Lamas in the evening.
Day 15: Tawang - Zemithang
Next morning we drive to Zemithang where you can meet the Monpa tribal peoples. Savor a picnic lunch at tourist lodge located by the riverside. Back to Tawang for some for enjoying cultural performances.
Day 16: Jang – Dirang - Sela Peak
Drive to Jang and enjoy the view of cascading waterfalls here. Move on to Dirang,a picturesque spot and on your way we will stop at Sela Top (13000 ft). Night is spent at the hotel
Day 17: Dirang
Be spellbound with the beauty of the Sangti valley and go on a trek through the 'Dirang Monpa' Tribal village. Here you can see rare black-necked cranes which migrate from cooler regions .Night spent at Dirang.
